Conversion rates as listed against costs on the entry form are; €620 = £435, €385 = £270, €285 = £200, €45 = £32, €25 = £18

The competition will be fished to the west of the Adelaide wreck or where ever possible to peg.

We will book in and draw pegs on Thursday 25th September at 9pm.

On Friday we will fish 12.30pm to 5.30pm.

Saturday we will fish 1.00pm to 6.00pm.

These times and venues may change due to weather conditions.

Species we will catch:-

Whiting, Codling, Trigger fish , Garfish , Mullet, Smooth-hound , Black Bream, Gurnard ,  Pollack , Rays , Plaice,  Sole, Pout  etc.    

No ground baiting will be allowed.

You may slide a float down with a grip lead.

Only 2 Garfish may be weighed in!

Any bait can be used.

We will fish catch and return using our Length to weight chart to EFSA size limits. All Eels and fish over 45cms must be weighed at the scales.

Accommodation and HQ will be the Premiere Travel Lodge Weymouth; more details of this will be on the web site when available.

This year's Cod festival will make a welcome return to the Mersey over the Weekend of 8th and 9th of November.

We plan to load from the new marina where the hotels are situated (details of HQ hotel will be sent once entry has been received).

This is a two hook event i.e. you can use a Pennell rig (counts as two hooks) or two single hooks.

There are no bait restrictions as lug and squid are plentiful and are the main baits (details of bait suppliers with entry confirmation).

You will also see on the entry form that we are changing the team events slightly by having the drawn team with 3 good top prizes i.e. 1st 2nd and 3rd and the open teams with 1st prize only. The prizes will be proportionate to the entry.

Places are very limited; only 40 anglers, so get your entry in fast.

The Championships will be held on the sandy beaches on the coastal area in the South West of the Netherlands in county Zeeland, a 100 kilometres car drive from Rotterdam Airport or Hook of Holland, 250 kilometres from Calais and 200 kilometres from Schiphol Airport. Train stops at Vlissingen, a 20 minutes car drive from the organisation hotel.

All members are requested to contact Brian Allum for the Sterling rates to pay for the amounts indicated in € in the brochure.

Please note that a separate entry form x2 is required for anglers and guests, these must be dated and signed and returned to Ray Barron prior to close of entries.

In addition to the entry fee of €648 (£455) per angler you will also need to include the EFSA HQ levy fee of £25 per angler, the guest fee is €88 (£62). Note full payment is required and not part payment as stated on the entry form. All cheques are to be payable to EFSA England.

The English Section will arrange transfer of all entry fees and H.Q. levies. Further costs to be paid separately will include flights, accommodation, transfers and extra day's fishing as listed in the brochure, and these can be arranged privately although Atlantic Travel may well offer this as a service if you wish.”
