EFSA have introduced the EFSA Specimen Fish Award Pins. These are lapel pins, 22mm diameter, Blue for Boat, and Green for Shore. The objective is to promote the targeting of larger fish other than line class or record fish which can be rewarded. This does not replace the EFSA England Fish of the Year Awards and is only open to full EFSA members.
The criterion for applying is based on fish length which must be verified with a photograph taken on an approved measure or mat and witnessed independently.
