Saturday 10th January 19 anglers were greeted with sun, blue skies  and a gentle breeze which was a pleasant surprise after the stormy weather over the previous 48 hours. Liverpool, the river Mersey was the venue for the 2025 EFSA England Species Championship held over the 28th and 29th November with Cod and Thornback Rays the nominated species. The EFSA European Shore Championships 2025 were held in Langeland, Denmark from 29th September to 3rd October. The event was hosted by EFSA Germany.
